Home from Memory – watercolor on 9″ x 12″ sketchbook paper
This was an experiment to see if I could draw the house I grew up in from memory. Surprisingly, it’s actually fairly accurate to what our house looks like. I grew up in a tiny cabin in the woods that sits atop a cliff overlooking a mountain valley with over 30 stairs to climb in order to walk through the front doors. It’s a simple quick drawing that will turn into something beautiful eventually.
